Terms and Conditions

1. Who We Are

NursesCorner Ltd (company number to be registered) operates the NursesCorner UK platform. We are a community for UK nursing professionals, registered in England and Wales.

2. Membership and Subscriptions

2.1 Tiers

Core Membership: £6/month. Includes community access, mentorship matching, resources, and event discounts. Event Passes: one-off purchase per event.

2.2 Payment

Processed by Stripe. We never store card details. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly billing.

2.3 Billing

Monthly in advance. First payment on sign-up, then same calendar day each month.

2.4 Cooling-Off and Cancellation

14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you use the community during this period, you waive your right to a refund for services already provided. After 14 days, cancel anytime via email or your Stripe portal. Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period. No partial refunds.

2.5 Non-Payment

7 days grace period after failed payment, then membership may be suspended. Reactivation requires new sign-up.

2.6 Price Changes

30 days notice. Cancel before change takes effect if you don't agree.

3. Services Provided

Community platform - discussion forums, resources, peer support.

Mentorship - best-effort matching. Mentors are volunteers. Guidance is informational only, not clinical supervision or medical advice.

Events and coaching - delivered by guest facilitators. Dates and facilitators may change. Coaching is for professional development, not therapy or regulated advice.

Resources - general reference only. Verify against NMC, NHS, and GOV.UK sources.

4. No Regulatory Authority

NursesCorner Ltd is not:

  • An NMC, RCN, or CQC-accredited training provider
  • A substitute for clinical supervision or employer training
  • A provider of medical, legal, or financial advice

Views expressed by facilitators and members are their own.

5. User Conduct

  • Treat everyone with respect
  • No identifiable patient information
  • No self-promotion or solicitation without approval
  • No discriminatory or offensive content
  • Do not redistribute resources outside the community

Breach may result in suspension or removal without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content (templates, guides, videos, posts authored by us) is our property. You may use it for personal professional development but not redistribute, sell, or republish without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Services provided "as is". To the extent permitted by UK law:

  • No liability for indirect or consequential damages
  • Total liability capped at fees paid in preceding 12 months
  • Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud

8. Third-Party Services

We integrate with:

  • Stripe - payment processing
  • Supabase - database and auth
  • Vercel - hosting
  • Calendly - scheduling
  • WhatsApp (Meta) - community channel
  • Resend - email delivery

Each has its own terms. We are not responsible for their service availability or privacy practices.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your membership for breach of these terms. No refunds for termination due to breach.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
